Little Lamb has been going to nursery for a couple of months now, so I want to start incorporating more educational activities into our time together. Last Sunday was arts and crafts day. As a child I was extremely arty, and still am! So I’ve been super excited to start getting out the PVA glue and glitter!!
I was given the opportunity to review a product of my choice from www.viking-direct.co.uk/ so thought this would be the prefect opportunity to grab a few bits for our crafty days. Here is what I chose…
‘Mister Maker Doodle Drawers’ RRP £14.49
‘Brianclegg Finger Paints’ 6x 500ml RRP £12.49
I am really happy with my choices. The ‘Mister Maker Doodle Drawers’ has so many crafty bits inside to make fun pictures with. These include pom-poms, lolly sticks, pipe cleaners, fibre pens, glue stick and glitter pens. Plenty of stuff to get creative with your little ones!
The finger paint tubs are such good value. I didn’t pay attention to the size of the tubs when purchasing, and when they arrived I was pleasantly surprised. They are huge! 500ml each is lots of paint to get messy with! These will last for ages, so at £12.49 (just over £2 per tub) it’s extremely good value! Please note, the recommended age for these items are age 3+, so take this into consideration if you intend to buy for your little one. Lamb is 16 months and has never been interested in putting everything into his mouth (unlike Baby Bear who loves to nibble on sand regularly!) so I wasn’t concerned he would eat the paint. With this in mind, I decided with my supervision I would allow him to have an afternoon of arts & crafts, and we had so much fun! Until he started crying because mummy was taking too long perfecting his painting….
You can buy alternative colours here.
I was really happy with the products from Viking. The delivery was super quick and the price was really reasonable. I will definitely be shiopping with them again in the future when I need more supplies for our arts & crafts days!
